Renard Joseph Barthelemy, departed this life on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Ochsner Hospital Main Campus at the age of 70. He was born on January 11, 1952, and was a native and longtime resident of Plaquemines Parish before moving to Algiers, LA. Son of the late Etinenne Barthelemy Sr. and the late Zaunita Barthelemy. Devoted companion of Daisy Brown. Father of Shilese Barthelemy who was the apple of his eyes. Brother of Da'Doll (Avery) Roberts and the late Rosanne (Gilbert) Sylve, Clement, Louis, and Etienne Barthelemy Jr. Brother-in-law of Clara and Vivian Barthelemy. Cherished Godfather of Kevin Roberts. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. Renard loved to sing and spend as much time in the bayou as possible. He was a fisherman most of his life. He had a calm nature and was loved by many. His jolly personality will forever be missed by his loving family.
