US Senator Bill Cassidy met with members of the Plaquemines Association of Business and Industry (PABI) Friday to discuss federal issues important to Plaquemines businesses such as flood insurance, levee protection and infrastructure. Cassidy, a key negotiator on the Federal Infrastructure Bill, said that Plaquemines is ideally suited for some of those funds. He said local meetings would be announced soon to assist local officials in garnering those funds.
