Barry was the beloved father of Joseph Giglio, and grandfather of Olivia and Emily Giglio.
On the night of July 31, 2023, Deputy Marshal Barry Giglio was shot and killed in the line of duty.
At about 8:30 p.m. that night, Giglio assisted the Evangeline Parish Sheri_'s O e in serving a warrant at a residence in Ville Platte, Louisiana.
