In the _nal week of October, the Plaquemines Parish Government (PPG) held a series of town hall meetings on economic development. _ere were three meetings in total: one on the east bank, one in Buras, and one in Belle Chasse. _e purpose of these meetings was to discuss how PPG plans to handle the economic growth Plaquemines is expected to undergo in the coming years.
