Congratulations to16-year-old Belle Chasse native Brynn Poe for recently being crowned Miss Miracle Beauty 2023 at the Miracle Beauties Pageant on Sunday, November 26. Brynn is the daughter of Veronica and Jacob Brewer and the late Brenton Boudreaux.
_e Miracle Beauties Pageant was founded in 2015 by Ricky and Julie Mire when the couple set out to nd activities for their special needs daughter, Hannah Mae, to participate in. As a result, Hannah had participated in a pageant in Houma, LA and she had a great time. _is experience inspired the couple to give their daughter and other girls a similar opportunity to shine on stage and be pampered for their special day.
_e non-prot has grown as an organization over the years and do four events a year which are designed specically for the special needs community. _e pageant o rs each participant the opportunity to have their hair and makeup done which makes things stress-free and the girls feel like royalty. Every girl walks away with a sash, a big beautiful crown, a tro- phy and has their moment in the spotlight. When you have a special needs child, you quickly realize how few activities your child can participate in.
