From December 1 through December 3, residents from all over Plaquemines Parish, the state of Louisiana, and even around the country came down to Fort Jackson to celebrate the 2023 Orange Festival. It was, as usual, a weekend of live music, friendly competitions involving seafood, eating competitions, and citrus competitions, and local food that brought the entire community together.
