BC Garden Club and Elementary School Celebrate Arbor Day
The Belle Chasse Garden Club, along with Belle Chasse Elementary School, celebrated and honored Arbor Day by planting a tree near the flagpole at the school. The tree, a Merlot Eastern Redbud, was dedicated last Friday, May 10, with a special ceremony attended by the third and fourth grade students at Belle Chasse Elementary, teachers, Principal Holly Eiswirth and members of the garden club.
