In 1957 The Great Smoky Mountains Natural History Association in Gatlinburg, Tennessee produced a cook book. It was call Mountain Makin’s in the Smokies.

It cost a dollar and could be mail ordered by anyone who had an interest in the Smoky Mountains. The dollar included postage.
