Doyle A. “Tippy” Bartholomew was born in Buras, LA on January 25,1959 to the late Herbert & Clarice Bartholomew. Tippy worked in the oilfield for 44 years as a Crane Operator. He loved being around friends and family enjoying the outdoors & watching his kids and grandkids grow up. Currently lived in Amite, Louisiana where he enjoyed spoiling his grandkids Abigail McBride & always 2 steps behind him was Brantley, Braxtyn & SJ. He loved cooking for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife Stacie, his brother Neal Bartholomew (Jacqueline), his Uncle Ray Duplessis ( Melanie), son in law to Johnny & Brenda Mioc, brother in law to Kristal & Derrick Courville. Nephew Wade Bartholomew (Jeanett) & Niece Whitney Close (Late Brad Close). He is the loving father of Darren Bartholomew (Jamie), Angela Bartholomew, Sean Bartholomew (Courtney), Jared Freelen, Adrieanna Hill & Alexandra Morgan (Michael). He has loved spoiling and loving on his 14 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. They have some great stories to share like him tricking Adrieanna to lick a lemon fish. He swore it tasted like a lemon. Our hearts will never be the same. The love he gave me once in a lifetime. Forever our angel
