Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, for Anna Rose Bacas, age 87, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Father Paddy Mockler will officiate the service. Anna Rose grew up in Biloxi, MS. She later moved to Buras, LA, where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vito Joseph Canizaro and Gilda Melone Canizaro; her loving husband of 57 years, Clarence B. 'Buddy' Bacas; her brothers, Joseph C. Canizaro, Horace Canizaro, and Marion F. Canizaro; and her sister, Gilda Henson. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bernard Joseph (Juanita) Bacas and John Thomas Bacas; her daughters, Cynthia (Christopher) Ryckaert, Rose Ann Bacas, and Bette Ann Littleton; her 3 Grandchildren, Monique Bacas, Nicole Walton, and Heather Littleton; her 2 great grandchildren, Milan Black and Brooke Walton; her brothers, Vito Canizaro and Roy T. Canizaro; her sister, Vita M. Canizaro; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
