Arthurine 'Reenie' Reddick of Pointe a la hache, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was 65 years old. Arthurine was born on November 10, 1960 to Daisy Mae Barthelemy-Reddick and the late Arthur Reddick, Sr. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sisters and brothers: Albertine (Melvin, Jr) Cross, Arthur Reddick, Jr., Albert Reddick, Terrance (Janae) Reddick, Carla (Reginald, Jr.) Ware, Chad (Marquita) Reddick, Chonda Reddick, Yolanda (Tory) Sylve, Rondell (Juanita) Battle, Otis Reddick, Chance (Kanana) Reddick, Lynell Reddick, Ashley (Ryan) Moliere, Mia (John) Johnson, Rosalyn Narcisse, and Ivy Encalade. Arthurine is also survived by her loving and devoted children, Shelly Reddick, Ferlin (Shelita) Reddick, Sr., Jason (Shelly) Reddick, Sr., Terrance Reddick, Brielle Reddick, and Cody Reddick, grandchildren: Zanaya Reddick, Navon Narcissse, Jr., Nashaun Reddick, Trent Raymond, Ferlin Reddick, Jr.,Jayden Reddick, Jason Reddick, Jasyonna Reddick, Jayvionna Reddick, Kingston Reddick, Cory Reddick, Kayden Barthelemy, Cody Reddick, Jr., Kylen Reddick and Major Reddick. Great-grandchildren: Narvell Narcisse and Josiah Holmes as well as her companion: Russell Sylve, Sr. Arthurine was the Goddaughter of Rosalyn Narcisse and the late Malcolm Picquet. She attended Phoenix High School and was employed by Riverbend Nursing Home and Landmark Rehabilitation Center. She was an avid softball fan. She truly enjoyed attending the local softball games. She so graciously gave away free drinks to park participants in an effort to make sure everyone stayed hydrated. She was proceeded in death by her father, Arthur Reddick, Sr., brothers, the late Timothy Reddick, Sr. and Victor (Darcel) Battle, and granddaughter, Nashell Narcisse. Arthurine was loved by her family and will be tremendously missed. Arthurine is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, Compassus Hospice, Ochsner (Jefferson Hwy) Benson Cancer Center, Riverbend Nursing Home and Landmark Rehabilitation Center are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 3, 2026 at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 Hwy 15 in Pointe-ala-hache, Louisiana 70082 at 11 am. Visitation at 10 am. Funeral entrusted to Robinson Family Funeral Home.
