Bernice E. Green Messa passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 106. She was born at Belair and a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Daughter of the late Agnes Gonzales Green and Daniel Green. Raised in Scarsdale by the late Agnes Green Vinet and Pierre S. Vinet after Daniel Green passed away. Wife of the late William Messa for 59 years. Devoted mother of Willie L. Messa (Jeannette). Loving grandmother of Jeanine M. Ward (Doug) and Daniel J. Messa (Donna). Great-grandmother of Dalton Messa, Nathalie Whitney, and Jessica Long. Great-great-grandmother of Olivia long and Cayden Whitney. Also survived by numerous cousins. She enjoyed baking pies, fudge, and brownie. Relatives and friends attended the visitation and funeral mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home in New Orleans on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
