Funeral Services for Calvin Ellis Treadway, Jr., age 76, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 am at Mc Donald Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Port Sulphur, LA, he was retired from Shell Oil Company. Raised on the bayou, Calvin developed a lifelong love for the water and enjoyed any opportunity to be out on it. He cherished vacationing and making lasting memories with family and friends. Whether spending time on the water or traveling with those he loved, he treasured the moments spent together and the memories created along the way. Calvin, known as Ellie, to his friends, will be truly missed by all who and knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Ellis Treadway, Sr and Doris Dobson Treadway; son, Cade Elliott Treadway; nephew, Trae Vujnovich; and father and mother in-law, Patrick and Germaine Curley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Kathleen Curley Treadway; daughters, Candy (Nelson) Vieira, and Cally (Brent) Hatten; grandchildren, Victoria Vieira, Declan Hatten, and Kellan Hatten; sisters, Bernie Treadway, and Janel (Marvin) St. Pe'; nieces and nephews, Necole (Donnie) Barrois, Ron Lopez, Ashley Vujnovich, and Cullen (Darah) Vujnovich.
