Cledman Joseph “Joe” Narcisse

A man defined by faith, devotion, laughter, generosity, and a love that knew no bounds, Cledman Joseph “Joe” Narcisse transitioned peacefully from his earthly home to his heavenly home on May 21, 2026, in Pointe à la Hache, Louisiana, at the age of 71. A devoted member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church, Joe served faithfully as a Deacon until his health no longer permitted. He was known for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and dedication to family and community. Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Narcisse, whose memory remained close to his heart throughout his life. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Felix “Blond” Narcisse, Kermit Narcisse (Samantha), Anthony Narcisse, Francis Narcisse, and Caffie Riley; bonus children, Brenda Merrick, Travis Merrick, Sr. (Amber), and Terrance Merrick; grandchildren, Bianca, Kalen, Story, Costen, Makenzie, Travis Jr., and Briana Williams; great-granddaughter, Salaya; godchildren, Denardria Narcisse and Arianne Parker-Flot; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, along with pastors, officers, and members of neighboring churches, are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service honoring Cledman Joseph “Joe” Narcisse on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at First Mount Zion Baptist Church, 32471 LA-23, Empire, Louisiana 70050. Visitation will begin at 9:00Am , followed by the funeral service at 11:00Am. Pastor- Elect Jordan L. Robinson Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Mount Zion Memorial Park Cemetery.
