Myron Griffin was born on May 14, 1961, to the union of Ulysses Griffin, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Alveris Griffin. He was united in holy matrimony to Joycelyn Baker Griffin on September 7, 2013. He Served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army Reserve. He was a proud graduate of Phoenix High School class of 1979. He was employed by the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office from 1999 until his passing. Lt. Myron Griffin entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 60. He leaves to cherish in his memory his loving wife, Joycelyn Baker Griffin, his father, Ulysses Griffin, Sr., his children Thaly Griffin, Caresse Hodges, Glenn A., Davion, Bridget and Glenda Baker, and Kiana B. Suggs, sister Marlene Jones (Keith), brothers Merlin Ben and Ulysses Griffin, Jr. (Peggy), sister-in-law's Evelyn Brooks and Patricia Edwards, brother-in-law's, George Davis III and Karl Brooks. Plaquemines Parish and St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Offices, family and friends are attended the visitation and funeral services on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Dr., Violet, LA. Officiants: Host Pastor Henry Ballard Jr., and Michael Jiles Jr. Interment: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Slidell, LA.
