Scott Joseph Ferry passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the age of 51. He was born in New Orleans, LA; and lived in Metairie and Belle Chasse for most of his life. Scott was the loving husband of Melissa Gaubert Ferry for over 13.5 years, devoted stepfather of Nathan and Blake Randazzo. He is the son of Eugene and Mary Lou Ferry, son-in-law of Tommy and Marion Gaubert. He was the brother of Buddy Ferry (Mary Catherine), Timmy Ferry (Mary), Connie F. Anderson (Richard), Leigh F. Weindel (Ray), Amy F. Montalbano, Sally F. Moreau (Scott), Mark Ferry, and the late Susan Ferry (Shawn), brother-in-law of Scott Gaubert (Angie), and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Scott was always so thoughtful and funny; he had a heart of gold. His smile and personality were larger than life. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Scott enjoyed maintaining his property and garden in Kentwood, LA. He will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, cooking and boiling seafood for family and friends. He enjoyed spending time and playing ball with his dog, Blue. Family and friends attend a Visitation and Memorial Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W.
