Shirley Parker Antoine, departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at her daughter's home in Denham Springs, LA, at the age of 94. She was a native and lifelong resident of Port Sulphur, LA. Daughter of the late Preston Parker Jr. and Louise Lafrance Parker. Devoted wife of 70 years to the late Milton Joseph 'Sam 'Antoine Jr. Beloved mother of Gerald Antoine Sr. (Shirley), Cynthia Raby (late Dwight), Milton Jerome Antoine Sr., Ronnie Clay Antoine (Catherine), Cathy Gray (Randy), Sherita Bartholomew (Darryl Sr.) and the late Jane Rapp. Sister of Preston Parker III (late Joyce), Renard Parker (Blanche), Lena Mae Ragas, and the late Louise Hansell. Devoted friend of Margie Smith, Germaine Reagan, and Bridgette Barthelemy. Godmother of Augusta Wilson, Everette Ducro, Christopher Williams Sr., Robert Burrle Sr., and the late Marilyn Ragas. Sister in law of Linda Antoine. Mrs. Antoine is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two grandchildren Karl Rapp and Sage Antoine. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur, LA. Entombment followed in the church's cemetery.
