American Legion and DA Ballay Partner To Deliver Easter Baskets To Plaquemines Parish Children

The American Legion Post 329 of Belle Chasse and District Attorney Charles Ballay partnered to bring 25 Easter Baskets to kids throughout Plaquemines Parish. Every year. Bryan and Sheryl Ruiz volunteer to help organize and prepare the baskets that will be given out.

SPES Second and third graders were invited to the Shell and New Orleans Pelicans Reading Rally. While there, we selected books to take, played through an obstacle course based on reading directions, and had a spelling test with basic sight words from both 2nd and 3rd grades
