2024 BVES Winter Formal Princesses and Princes

THE VOICE OF THE OILERS: BVES Holds Winter Formal

On January 26, Boothville-Venice Elementary School (BVES) hosted its Annual Winter Formal. Students dressed up to enjoy a fun night filled with music and snacks! The students enjoyed an amazing night dancing and hanging out with their friends. This event was hosted by our sixth grade teachers Ms.
March 20 was the grand opening of Boothville-Venice Elementary School's Accelerated Reader (AR) Gaming Room. The students that met their AR Goals for the third nine weeks received a golden ticket, that is redeemable for 15 minutes in the gaming room. The students were extremely excited about the new reward for their reading effort. The incentive will continue through the fourth nine weeks and into next school year.

Coffee With a Cop Set for April 11

Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office will have a 'Coffee with a Cop' event on Thursday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Dad's Restaurant, 32381 Highway 23, Empire. No agenda or speeches. Just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

BVES Competes in State Beta Convention

The Boothville-Venice Beta Club competed in the State Beta Elementary and Junior Conventions in February 2024 and placed in several competitions. The winners have the opportunity to compete in the National Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia held in June 2024.
