Ethelyn Broussard Holder went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2026 at the age of 90. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Beloved wife of the late Marion Wilburn Holder for 73 years, mother of Phillip Keith Holder (Ann), John Holder (Karen), Timothy Paul Holder (Lisa) and Robert James 'Jimmy' Holder (Glenda). Grandmother of Chris Holder, Kim (Garen), Mike (Kylene), Beth (Ryan), Chris Braud, John (Michelle), Eric (Carlie), Barbara, Daniel, Chelcie (John), C.J., and Brandon. Also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Daughter of the late Marguerite 'Maggie' Bergeron Broussard and Murphy Leon Broussard sister of Rillian Dobson (the late Ernest Dobson) Sister of Roland 'Jimmy'Broussard (Gail). Also preceded in death by Phillip Keith Holder Jr. Age 90 years, Born in Abbeville, LA. a native of Port Sulphur, LA. and resident of Gonzales, LA. Ethelyn was a devoted parishioner of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Gonzales. She worked as a hairdresser, She was an avid artist and musician who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:30 PM.
