On Sunday, June 14, the “Paul Narcisse” Post #430 of the American Legion based in Davant held a changing of the guard ceremony. Founded in 2001, this post of the American Legion helps support the U.S. Military veterans of Plaquemines Parish navigate their lives as civilians in a multitude of ways. And for just under two decades, this post of the American Legion was led by Joseph Williams.
