Plaquemines Community Development Group Holds 2nd Annual Christmas Festival

On November 29, beginning in the morning and running fairly late into the night, the Plaquemines Community Development Group kicked off the Christmas Holiday celebrations with their second annual Christmas Fun Run, Parade, and Festival at the parish government complex in Belle Chasse.
School board members, superintendent Shelley Ritz, and Governor Landry representative Austin Badon present teachers Hannah Smith of Belle Chasse Elementary School, Kaylee Boaz of Belle Chasse Middle School, and Christina Lauricella of Belle Chasse High School with proclamations from Governor Landry recognizing them for being named teachers of the year within the school system.
