Plaquemines Parish Schools Educator of the Year Gala: A Night to Honor Educational Excellence

On November 20, 2025, the Belle Chasse Rotary Club Foundation Inc. presented the third annual Plaquemines Parish Schools Educator of the Year Gala. Held at The National WWII Museum, this prestigious celebration honors the outstanding educators and school personnel of Plaquemines Parish.

Sarah Tesvich Appointed to First Assistant District Attorney Role

With the retirement of 1st Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Jerry Lobrano approaching, District Attorney Charles Ballay needed to appoint a new individual to the position.

PPSO Young Marines Program Receives Donation From the Marine Corps League

Thanks to a generous donation by the Marine Corps League New Orleans, Paul E. Boyd Detachment #579, the PPSO Young Marines Program will be upgrading their uniforms from the old woodland style camouflage to the digital camouflage uniform.
