Each year the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans (DSA GNO), a non-profit organization, holds its annual Buddy Walk fundraiser. The event is in November and is a half-mile fun walk with food, prizes, and entertainment open to the public. This year’s Buddy Walk will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Kenner’s Laketown, 5051 Williams Blvd., Kenner.
