Lauren Marie Fremin passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Lafayette, LA, at the age of 39 (forever 21). Lauren was a lover of all creatures - throughout her life. When Lauren moved to the Arnaudville and Breaux Bridge area, she really took to the country farm life. Her four and two-legged friends always greeted her with joy. It started with caring for a pig, then it escalated to donkeys, then mini ponies, then horses, then bunnies, then cats, etcetera, but what she loved the most was her goat, Lulu, and her dog, Chief. Lauren had many talents, working as a hair stylist for many years, artist, working assistant at a horse farm, and a go-to person for family members and friends. Time spent with “Nanny Lauren” was always very special for any child she met, especially for her niece Everlie and her niece & Godchild Hunter-Leigh. Her friends often described Lauren (Bumper) as “hilarious” and she was loved by all of her family and her many, many friends for her gift of loving children, her talented creative artistic nature and clever sense of humor. We know as she walked through the Pearly Gates, she painted her wings so bright for us all to see so that she can be with us all spiritually until we see her again. Our daughter’s life was cut short, but the impression she left on the lives of others will never be forgotten. She is survived by her mother, Denise V. Livingston (Kenneth); father, Sidney J. Fremin, Sr.; brother, Sidney J. Fremin Jr. (Brittany); stepbrothers, Colin M. Livingston and Kenneth Livingston; godchild, Hunter-Leigh Fremin; niece, Everlie Livingston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Richard and Helen Fremin; maternal grandfather Theodore J. Varady; maternal grandmother Lola J. Benson; and her uncle Teddy Varady. Relatives and friends of the family attended a visitation and memorial service held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 201 Church St., Youngsville, LA, 70592, on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Officiant: Rev. Michael Russo. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, LA, handled the arrangements.
