Tallgrass Sells Plaquemines Liquids Terminal Property to CPRA

_e Coastal Protection & Restoration Authority (CPRA) recently reached an agreement with Tallgrass Energy, the company that planned to build an oil export terminal near Ironton, to purchase around 500 acres of land for their Mid Barataria Sediment Diversion. In total, the state agency paid about $36 million for the property. For CPRA, this deal allows them to avoid potentially having to expropriate the land—which would require court proceedings and potentially a more costly route.

Occupational, Alcohol License Renewal Now Available Online

Moving forward, all Occupational and Alcohol Licenses can be renewed online with a credit/debit card payment. _e new web service is called MuniLicense. MuniLicense will streamline the license renewal process and will be much more convenient for our business owners to renew their Occupational and Alcohol licenses. All the businesses in our old database including their license history have been converted and transferred to the MuniLicense system. All business owners will need to go to https://munilicense. com and create a login pro_le. _is will begin the registration process to link your login to your business account. Your login username will need to be your company’s email address. Please ensure that the email address is a reliable address for the business. Once you have created your login pro_le, follow the onscreen prompts to input all requested information. Please be prepared to input your company Federal Employer Identi_cation Number or Social Security Number to verify your business. You can access a PDF document at www.ppso.net/tax-oce containing step-by-step instructions on how to create your login pro_le and link it to your business.

2022 Miss Seafood Queen Promotes Plaquemines in Pasadena, California

On January 2, Plaquemines native and 2022 Miss Seafood Queen Catherine Blondiau took part in the 134th Rose Parade held in Pasadena, California.
