Andrew John 'Mickey' Garma passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024 at the age of 92. He was the son of the late Anthony Vincent Garma Sr. and the late Antoinette Franceski Garma. Beloved husband of Beryl Barrois Garma, stepfather to Cheryl Floyd Albert (Curt), and grandfather to Spencer Albert (Tracy) and Samantha Albert (Edwardo), and great-grandfather to Molly, Christopher, and Daniel Albert. Brother of Anthony 'Tony' V. Garma, Jr, and Uncle to several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Anne Garma Smith and Helen Garma Tarter, and numerous friends and relatives. Mickey lived a long, full life with his beautiful wife. He was a life-long resident of Buras, Louisiana. He was retired from Shell Oil Company and worked his family farm, Garma Citrus, until 2005. Relatives attended a private Visitation for close family, and, with friends of the family, attended the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., in Harvey, La., on Friday, September 13, 2024, 2024.
