Michael “Mike” Ray Livingston, 71, passed away on Sunday, September 15th surrounded by loved ones in Nashville, Tenn. He was a dedicated and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who was loved by all who knew him. Mike was born in New Orleans, La. to David and Beatrice Livingston and graduated from River Oaks Academy in Belle Chasse. He met the love of his life Beckie when they were children and they were happily married for over 52 years. Together they settled in Marrero where they raised their three children. Mike started his career in sales at Bon Marche Furniture and Appliances in Marrero, La. He spent his entire career in sales and would eventually become a direct rep for Zenith and move to Birmingham, Ala. before retiring with Beckie to Nashville, Tenn. Mike’s passion was his family and spending as much time with them as possible, especially his four grandchildren. Mike was raised in the First Baptist Church of Marrero and continued his love and relationship with God throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Beatrice Livingston and Father and Mother-in-law, Bill and Irene Berry. He is survived by his wife, Beckie Livingston; son, Jason Livingston (Angel); daughters, Stacey Jadwin (Paul) and Dana McCurdy (Jason); grandchildren, Kayla Jadwin, Sean Livingston, Michael Jadwin and Emma Jadwin; brothers, David Livingston (Cathy) and Randy Livingston (Susan); Sisters-in-law, Debbie Lerille (Gable), Linda Rousselle (Joey), Sandra Otto (Rick), Cindy Berry, Vickie Berry and Brother-in-law Eric Berry (Brandy). Relatives and friends attended a Visitation and Graveside Service held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., in Metairie La. You can rest now, Dad, for you are at peace and embraced by the Lord. We love you so much and you will be in our hearts forever.
