LDWF Recreational Hunting, Fishing Licenses Now on LA Wallet

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has partnered with LA Wallet to bring digital hunting and fishing licenses to Louisiana citizens. Effective, October 18, 2021, citizens with a Louisiana Driver’s License or State ID can use LA Wallet to display their purchased LDWF licenses on their smartphone.

Council Votes to Hold "Public Input Sessions" on Redistricting

The Plaquemines Parish council continues to move through the complex and controversial redistricting process. At the October 28 meeting, the council unanimously approved a resolution that directs council attorney Dannie Garrett and Strategic Demographics LLC (the demographer hired by the Plaquemines Parish Government to handle redistricting) to hold “Public Input Sessions” on the redistricting process in Plaquemines throughout the parish.
