Alice Lange Kreig of Belle Chasse, La., died peacefully at her home on August 30, 2024, surrounded by family; at the age of 98. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis T. Kreig, Sr. A loving mother, she is survived by son, Louis T. Kreig, Jr. and daughter Karen K Barletter, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and one step great-great-grandchild. She is very grateful for the assistance of her friends, housekeeper, hairdresser, and gardener over the years. She was also appreciative of the doctors and staff of West Jefferson Hospital, staff of Foundations Hospice and Loretta Lewis of Tender Loving Care. Relatives attended a Graveside Service on Saturday, September 7, 2024 held at St Louis #3 Cemetery, in New Orleans, La. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
