Chasity Hammond was born Chasity Michelle Brewer on August 29, 1979, in Memphis, Tennessee, and went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2024. She was the first child of Ray Loga and Sarah Matamoros. She lived most of her life in Louisiana. She attended Buras High School and went on to eventually attend Medical Training College. She obtained a degree as a Medical Offi ce and Health Information Technician with a 4.0 GPA. She was certified in Medical Billing and Coding. She was a very intelligent individual and talented artist. Through her experience working at several medical offices and other accomplishments, she stated her proudest moment was when she became a mother to her son, Brice. She married Jason Hammond in 2005, and they had Brice in 2010. Though their marriage ended, they remained friends and partners in honoring the best interest of their son, Brice. Brice was her world; she loved him with every breath she took. Chasity held on to her faith and love-even in the hardest moments of her life. She will be greatly missed by a host of many other family members and friends. Chasity is the daughter of Raymond Loga of Vacherie, LA, and Sarah Matamoros of Earie, Arkansas. Mother of Brice Andrew Hammond of Gonzales, LA. Sister to Stephanie Neilsen of Denham Springs, LA and Kayla Peoples of Earie, Arkansas. Sister to Nicholas Loga of Louisiana. Preceded in death by grandfather, Ellis W. Loga of Louisiana and Ernestine Green of Arkansas.
