Ryan Joseph Pelas passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 31. He was born on November 18, 1993 in Gretna, LA. Ryan is survived by his parents Larry Joe Pelas Jr. (Missy) and Charmin Duhe; his grandmother Millie Pelas; his brothers and sisters, Evan Pelas (Courtney), Lauren Pelas, Kelsie Webb (Garrett), and Adama Duhe; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Larry Pelas Sr., Clifford Bailey Wallace and Agnes Champlin Beard. Ryan was dedicated to playing sports to become an All American in soccer, and track and eld. Ryan was passionate about being a gifted artist and musician. He also was always willing to help anyone in need. In lieu of flowers, the family request any contributions be made in Ryan’s memory to Oxford House in Metairie for individuals in need of help for substance use disorders. A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held a later date.
