William V. Bartholomew departed this life peacefully at his home in Pointe a la Hache, LA on February 7, 2025, at the age of 70. He was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. He was the son of the late Theophone Bartholomew and Jean Regina Bartholomew. William was a devoted husband to Charlotte Bartholomew for 27 and a half years. Together they share 11 children (six daughters Danyell Bartholomew, Jennifer Summer-Barthelemy, Triquila, Lashara, Tenasha and Shaquanna Harvey; five sons William Jr., Gary, and Tyrell Bartholomew, Stan and Lloyd Harvey). He was proceeded in death by his brothers Calvin and Theophone Justin Jr. and sister Eugenie Bartholomew. He survived by his wife Charlotte Bartholomew and brother Eugene Bartholomew, 11 children, 39 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family attended his funeral services at Thomas Catholic Church in Pointe a la Hache, LA on February 22, 2025. Interment was private.
